His version...

It was a day filled with anxiety and nervousness.  I was waiting impatiently for my motorcycle to arrive and already had plans to take Jerrhelyn to our special place where I was planning on popping the question.  When my bike arrived I rode it around and finally decided now was the time!  I'm a very impatient person and so I couldn't wait any longer.

As I returned home, Jerrhelyn wasn't in the best of moods and didn't want to go to the park.  I somehow was able to trick her into going (I have my ways)!  The whole ride there my hand was sweating!  I tried not to hold her hand in the car, but when she grabbed it she said...."Ewwwwww your hand is CLAMMY!"

While we walked to our tree where we had our 1st picnic, it felt like the longest walk ever!  I had so many thoughts running through my head and was thinking of what to say.  We finally get to the tree and I start to setup the camera and got all my thoughts together.  I told her to stand in front on the camera while I set it up.  She didn't know that I pressed record before I stood in front of her.

When I held her in my arms....everything just went blank and my emotions took over.  I told her that I was glad to have someone like her in my life and that she makes me the happiest person in the world.  I then said, "I have one last thing to ask you," I got down on one knee and said, "Jerrhelyn Reyes will you marry me?"

The rest was a blur, the funny thing is is that she didn't even say yes the first time I asked her! Haha...and I have proof!  All I have to say is this is the best decision I have ever made in my life.  To ask the person who I love most to spend the rest of my life with me!

Her version...

So ladies let’s face it, we can get a little jealous when our man is so consumed by something because the focus isn’t us at the moment.  Whether its work/school, playing videogames, watching sports, or in my case a MOTORCYCLE.  So you can probably tell how I was feeling that morning when he was waiting for his bike to be delivered.  I was thinking, “Great, there goes our quality time!”

After the bike got delivered Jeff took it for a ride.  Shortly after, he came home and told me to get ready so we can go to the park.  I guess my emotions took over (and PMS) that I just started crying.  Of course now I’m in no mood to go to the park.  He talked me into it, but I slowly got ready while still in my sour mood.

We arrived at the park, walked toward “our tree,” and he proceeded to set up the camera on the tripod, he made me stand in a certain spot so that we can take pictures.  I was kind of confused, but went with it anyway.  He made it seem like the camera was on a timer and ran over to me, turned me towards him, started asking me if I love him, and then he basically professed his love while trembling and crying.  Honestly for a minute, I thought he was going to tell me bad news, like he lost his job or something.  Then he got down on his knee and popped the question!!  All I could say was, “Are you serious, are you for real… Oh my God, Oh my God!”  Of course at that point I’m crying AGAIN.  He told me how he hid it from me, who knew and kept it a secret, and then explained how he asked my family’s permission the previous week.  After all that, he was like, “Wait, you didn’t even answer the question!”

Guess what my answer was…
