How it all happened...
It started December 08, 2007...I went to DC for the weekend to celebrate a friend's (April) going away party. The night started off with dinner at Tenpenh Restaurant. April and her cousin Jeff show up fashionably late. He came from NJ to join in April's festivities. From the moment Jeff and I were introduced I was already attracted, but the whole time at dinner he thought that my friend Jerome, who was sitting next to me at dinner, was my boyfriend.
After dinner, we all go to another bar for some drinks. He later finds out from my friends that I'm single so he continues to talk to me more. From that point we couldn't stop talking to each other, but we still managed to get some dancing in...we always joke and say our song is Flo Rida's LOW...you know "apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur..." Haha...memorable times!
From that night on we became inseparable. We did start our relationship long distance, then 9 months after dating Jeff moved to Virginia to be with me! Not too long after moving (7 months later), he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!!
I am so blessed that Jeff came into my life...he is more than I could ever ask for in a friend, a companion, and a soul mate!!! I LOVE YOU BUBS!
