I'm a LUCKY GIRL

     So when Jeff knew it was time, he drove to New Jersey, I was left behind because I was on-call that weekend (perfect planning on his part again).  He took his parents to dinner and asked his parents if he had their blessing for us to get married.  Of course they said yes and his mother then, gave up her ring!  When Jeff came back from his visit, he went to the jeweler found the setting I’d like (something more modern and that set lower).  It took about a month until it was ready.  Jeff then hid the ring in his golf bag, good hiding place!  The weekend came, and on Saturday, May 09, 2009 he proposed with this beautiful ring!    

      I love my ring! Not only is it beautiful, but it’s also sentimental!  It was he's mother’s diamond from 25 yrs ago.  The previous ring was set in gold with 2 smaller diamonds on each side and was set really high.  Now, the diamond is set in a 4-prong platinum band with pave diamonds.  I still look at it constantly!
