Hi. I came across your website while checking out wedding bee. It's great. I am also getting married at the Westin Aruba in October 2011 and am more excited now that I've seen your website. We are also thinking about having our rehearsal dinner at Aqua Grill. We've been there and love their food. I was wondering how difficult you found it to get the 8 x14 paper. Could this also work for just a standard A4 piece of paper? I would then split the A4 piece of paper into 4.

I am planning on marrying at the Westin in August 2012, and was getting quite nervous about our decision until I came across your story.
I do have one question though. It seems as though everyone I've read about seems to have the ceremony and cocktail hour on the beach, then moves up to the outdoor lounge. I was wondering why. Is it a bad idea to have the whole event on the beach? I probably will not get to see the Westin again before our wedding, and would like your opinion. I feel as though no one has pictures up of the lounge, and the ones I've seen do not make it look very beachy or decorated for a wedding at all. If you could offer me any advice I would be honored. Thank you.

Jerrhelyn and Jeff, I came across your blog while searching Betrothal Letters. My husband and I are preparing to join EE as presenters and are excited about this. Because our path leading to Marriage was different we were dispensed from typical Marriage prep. The more my husband and I work with engaged couples, the more I realize that we missed out on some important tools. Some could judge our pastor on letting us forego traditional preparation for a hurry-up wedding, right out of Boot Camp, during the season of Lent. (Which, "back then" people didn't get married during Lent.) There is a line from a play that would be in my list of Top Ten Quotes if I actually would take the time to make such a list. It is: "If God ordains it, He will make it happen." Now, I am trying to learn about what others learn. A Betrothal Letter is something that I've never heard of, but what a beautiful thing. Thank you for sharing your's here. And then, as a crafter, I was super excited to see all these beautiful things you created. Wow. I'm going to come back because I know there are ideas I want to tweak for the different things I do. May God bless you and yours.
