The fiance and I are planning to give our guest cute goodie bags, it's the least we can do for them considering they're making a trip for our special day!  To start this project we actually have to come up with the BAG.  Fi's cousin showed me LONGCHAMP'S "It Bag" and I fell in LOVE!

Don't think that we'll be getting this bag for each guests (these bags retail for over $300), it's just a inspiration folks!!  Stay tuned to see the what we come up with, it'll be the same concept but with our own twist!  You'll love it too!
(( Thanks Ate Nana (again) for the hook up!!))
Ladies, Have you ever found an inspiration but knew it was out of your reach?  What did you do to try to compensate?

The snow storm started late last night, but that didn't stop me from working so hard!  It's the last weekend that BFF is a SINGLE WOMAN!!  So you know what that means...I have so much to do!!  EEKKSS!!  I'm super excited for the wedding, but at the same time, maybe a little stressed (sshhhh don't tell her!)  Jen if you're reading this, I'm just kidding!
Friday night started with making the cork escort cards, which honestly didn't take that long.

Then I finally finished the watches I promised her!  It kinda took forever to make these only because it was hard to find the watch faces.  We went to Michael's Arts & Crafts (what seemed like every weekend) looking for these darn watch faces!  I swear we were on a mission, the goal was to make eight, but five will suffice.

And while the fiance is freezing his butt off shoveling the walk and drive way, I'm bundled up in the house working on BFF's candy buffet, table numbers, and tying ribbons on pom poms!
Do you get motivated to work on wedding stuff when the weather prevents you from being in the outside world?  At what point do you start getting cabin fever?

As I was checking Wedding Bee's daily blogs (as I do EVERYDAY) I came across a great discovery.  I know this might sound a little crazy, but have you ever heard of using Monistat Chafing Gel as a makeup primer?!  I know its nuts, but after a little researching, this chafing gel seems to be every make-up artists' big secret.  I also read that Monistat's Chafing Gel has the same ingredients as Smash Box Primer, but for 1/5th the price!!  Well I'm glad the secrets out because this can save me some serious cash, and whose not all about saving some dough!?

So after I read Miss Rainbow's blog, I went to the nearest drug store to purchase the chafing gel and to my disbelief it was the last one!  I guess I was the last to hear about this secret, but was very excited to snatch one up!  After arriving home I was quick to try Miss Rainbow's signature cocktail...

I could kiss Miss Rainbow right now for her wonderful tutorial!!  After experimenting with this new formula, my skin looks flawless and feels great!!!  Do you have any other makup secrets you'd like to share, cause I'm all ears!?!

The fiance left this Friday to start the MAN-cation with the boys for a friend's bachelor party!  I could just picture all the craziness that happened this weekend-can't wait to hear the stories!  So while Jeff is out having fun, I had a more chill, wedding crafting weekend.  I did get a lot done since he was gone, more than I wold have if he'd been here!
BFF came over and we FINALLY finished all her pom poms.  All 30 of them!  We're happy that they're finished and even happier at the final outcome!

The rest of the evening and all day today, all I've been doing is working on our invitations!  After reading the rsvp card it came to my horror that the return deadline was printed 10 days earlier than what we planned!!  It was our mistake for not catching the error, so that's why I worked so hard to try to get as much done as I can!  And this is what it looked like...eekkss!  I need to clean up before the fiance comes home!

Last weekend a bunch of girlfriends and myself went to CALIFORNIA to celebrate BFF's last fling before the ring!!  I knew it was going to be a crazy fun long weekend with 7 close girlfriends!  We spent a day in San Francisco sightseeing.  We visited and ate lunch at Fisherman's Wharf, took pictures of sea lions and heffered out on great food and desserts!  The Golden Gate Bridge was amazing in person!  Though we froze our butts off it was well worth the trip to see the bridge!

The rest of our trip we spent in Napa Valley!  OMG....I heart that place!  We had such an exciting time!!  So many wineries to visit, so little time!!  But a few of our favs were Del Dotto Caves and Robert Mondavi!!  If you ever plan to visit Napa, these places are most sees!!

Oh yeah, the shirts in the picture above were designed and gifted to the girls by the lovely MoH, Jodi, sister of the bride!  Thanks Jod's for the beautiful shirts, I especially love the saying, "GIRLS GONE WINE!"  For the trip, Jodi and I surprised the girls with goodie bags!  Check out BFF's DIY Projects to see the surprise!!

The New Year has begun and it's already started off with a bang!!  All our friends and family are anticipating this coming year and so are we!!  This past weekend we celebrated the BFF and her fiance's wedding shower!  It was tons of fun and a bit overwhelming for the bride-to-be!  But I guess that's practice for her upcoming wedding, which is in ONE MONTH!!  EEEKKK!!!  Here are some pictures to highlight the event:

So with the shower come and gone, it's party time!!  The bride to be and her entourage along with some friends will be heading out to Napa Valley, Ca. for her bachelorette party this coming weekend!  I'm SUPER EXCITED and can't wait to celebrate with great friends and good wine!!  Stay tuned for the surprises the MoH and I have planned!!

I spent my New Years Day shopping and found a new FOREVER 21 store that just opened in our area!!  I was so amazed with the accessories they carried and some of the pieces could even be used for the wedding day!!  To think that some places charge ridiculous prices for anything "wedding" accessories.   So I just wanted to share the things I found at the store and online for LESS THAN $10....OMG!!!
Just goes to show that not everything you spend on the big day has to break the wallet!  Did you go "cheap" on anything for your BIG day?
